Analysis
of Complex Networks:
Structure
and Dynamics
Dipartimento di Elettronica
e Informazione, Politecnico di Milano
September 28 - 30, 2010
Scientific course organised by
This course is part of the teaching activities
organized by the PhD
Program in Information Technology at DEI.
It is not only addressed to PhD students, but to
all researchers working in any areas of science and engineering and interested
in the theory and applications of complex networks. The aim of the
course is to illustrate the basic theoretical notions in an introductory
but rigorous fashion, and to complement them with some applications taken
from very diverse areas.

REGISTRATION
The participation is restricted to:
-
people working at the Politecnico di Milano: PhD
students, research associates ("assegnisti"), and professors of any Department;
-
members of SICC - Italian Society for Chaos
and Complexity [how
to become a member].
There is no admission fee, but application is mandatory
for all participants:
-
PhD students of DEI doctoral program must follow
the usual online procedure for applicating to PhD courses;
-
anyone else (including PhD students from other
departments, and academics from inside and outside the Politecnico di Milano)
must fill in and mail a registration form [click
here for the form].
A certificate of attendance will be given to
all participants at the end of the course.
